Cozy Fall Patio Inspo

I’m excited to share with you my cozy Fall patio inspo with you today! When I think of Fall, I like to think of lots of cozy throws, blankets and candles to snuggle up with….not to mention beautiful flowers! Whether your having a glass of wine or hot cocoa outdoors, getting warm and comfy in a beautiful atmosphere is a win!

Feeling blessed  is something I am thankful for not just around this time of year but everyday. Sometimes we forget about the little things to be thankful for. For instance, waking up in the morning and having a nice cup of coffee; that’s a blessing. Making all the beds in the morning; blessed for your children. Or taking the time to call or visit your elders; its a small gesture that puts a smile on their face and it just feels good. So when I saw this wood sign, it made me realize to count my blessings and how many little things I’m thankful for. I wanted to place this beautiful sign as a reminder for my cozy Fall patio decor.

When you buy an older home and remodel, I don’t think you will ever be quite ‘done’ remodeling it lol. There is always something else you have to fix, but thats the beauty of buying an older home. It’s either the character of the home or that special feature that just made you fall in love with and it felt like home. One of the decision factors for us when we first looked at this home was the oasis- like backyard. I love anything nature so the backyard definitely had that special feature for me! Having a big family, we wanted to create a patio area where we can sit and enjoy. Here are some of the before pics we took during the construction process.

Although the patio is finally complete, we are still not quite done lol. I like to add some more lighting, plants and possibly some outdoor drapery to make this patio area more cozy; not only for Fall but all year round.
