Most of you may already know my forever love for PINK! SO, I’m taking a non traditional Fall approach with a touch of pink in my simple family room Fall decor. I’ll also be sharing some of the ways I’ll be decorating my new home for the up coming seasons…so welcome in! โฅ

Not only did I take a non traditional approach for my Fall decor, I also kept everything pretty budget friendly. The most I spend decorating this room for Fall was under $60! AND by budget friendly; I also shopped from my own home! For instance, I already had some of the decorative pieces like pillows & throws that I usually switch up from room to room. I also had some faux pumpkins from my Fall box that I had stored away.
I have to admit, in the past I didn’t know what I had stored away in my seasonal boxes and thought it was just “too much work” to go through everything, SO I would go out and buy more stuff {too expensive!} Please tell me I’m not the only one who used to do this?! Honestly, this is how everything adds up and my hubby would always complain. After moving into this home of ours, it literally took us FOREVER to clean out some of the boxes and get organized. So I decided from then on to keep things very simple….re-use what I had and shop from my own home. And if I need to buy any new pieces, it would only be a few and definitely not spend over hundreds of dollars! So far, it has been more convenient this way and my husband has never been so much happier ha!

How I easily easily switch things up from season to season is I try to keep a neutral palette in my home. When adding pops of colors to a neutral palette; not only freshens up your space but you can also easily switch things out for a different look! As you can see I have a very neural wall, sofa, rug and table in this room so adding a touch of pink to my simple family room Fall decor was not only fun and easy but very budget friendly. Check out my Family Room Remodel here to see a different pop of color on a neural palette I did. And of coarse this space wouldn’t be complete without the beautiful canvas; courtesy of Dean Designs.

Since I had a touch of pink in my simple family room Fall decor, I decided to do something a little different in my kitchen area. I added some simple {faux} natural elements to welcome Fall into this space and already loving the new look!

Creating simple vignettes is another favorite thing to do! Whenever I create a vignette, I usually tend to have items that are a group of three. It’s not too much or too less; it’s just the perfect touch! Just like having fresh flowers in your home to change things up…I feel the same way when creating vignettes. It immediately changes the look and feel of your space! It also doesn’t have to be expensive, it could be any items you have in your home but the key is adding different heights.
